waterpump

Well I would like to say thanx to everyone that gave me ifno about my oil change everthing went good. ok well i have been looking at my waterpump i have a 94 lt1 well anyways its wet on top i hope u can see from the pics its not leaking its just a little wet and its black i hope the pics kinda help i know there not the best well thank you all.

Ghost,

The pictures look an awful lot like the thermostat housing gasket is leaking. Far easier to replace than a water pump. Drain the coolant down from the radiator petcock pull the two bolts holding down the housing, scrape off the old gasket and replace it with a new one and some RTV sealer.

But they don't have water pumps for the LT1 or LT4 at least they aren't listed :cuss
