My ZZ4 engine is running rich
The fuel filter, O2 sensor, wires plugs, cap, rotor, 24# injectors were all replaced about two months before the engine swap. In a previous post, I stated that I got a code 45...which I just received recently. The new engine was installed back in August. Should I be using a different O2 sensor as opposed to the one for an L98? Or am approaching this completely wrong? Do I need a chip for the new engine or for thelarger non-OEM injectors? :confused:

Running rich when? At idle, at part throttle, at wide-open throttle? Headers? Location of the O2 sensor (stock location, header tube for #7, or header collector)?

The code set off while cruising on the freeway at about 65mph. The location of the O2 sensor is stock...left side. At idle the car wants almost stalls and then recovers. Sometimes it doesn't and will stall.

Do you have full headers? what cam and intake?

you ever do any prom work? one of my friends has a similar combo & runs rich as well. as much as i hated paying it, it's why i shelled out $350 to ed wright. great program, no problems and awesome customer service.
