Default Please help with install of front coilovers (early c4)

Trying to get front coilovers installed on my early c4.

I already have the top mount figured out but need help clearing the sway bar mount/tower.

I'm using the standard q1/Eibach setup.

Please help!

I'd consider removing the sway bar.

Don't know if this will help, but here is VanSteel's instruction for late model front coil over install. It shows how to make clearance for late model sway bar.

Use 1/2" chromoly male and female rod ends
Make a bracket out of angle steel
