Lt1 There's a little to it.Fidenza has aluminum with replaceable iron insert. Flywheel will need balance weight. It maybe a separate peice that bolts between crank and flywheel.
My lightweight fidanza flywheel has a little weight that bolts to the backside of it.
i took the weight off, neutral balanced the new SPEC pressure plate to the alum flywheel.
Then I put the weight back on, and clocked it exactly where the extra mass was on the dual mass flywheel
I had a machine shop check all this.
dont want to put it back together and have a vibration.
just be sure to note the orientation the dual mass was when you remove it. Though there may be an offset there so you can only install it one way.
bottom line is that the extra weight on the single mass flywheel needs to be clocked to the crank exactly where the extra weight was on the dual mass flywheel

Yes LT1. 94 ZF6 black tag. I already have a new flywheel. Nothing fancy just stock replacement. Just wondering if I have to get it re-balanced to match my old DFM?
Or can I just bolt it on? I've heard it may have a vibration after switching to single from DFM. What do you think?
If flywheel was LT1 specific it may have weight made to it. It's a question for supplier or possibly there is a note in paperwork.
There are several threads related to installing solid flywheel.
