Install the 85-87 vette AC Delco pump. It's a better choice and a direct replacement pump. Regulate it to 13psi and you are golden. No sealant needed on rubber gasket, but I would replace that as well if it's original. Good luck.
Thanks for the info! My C4 is carbed so just using a 22 psi pump and regulating it down to 5 psi going into a 1405 edelbrock. Kind of a bitch getting at those rubber hoses but did replace them!

OH! In that case you can disregard my post. I thought you were still running the CFI. Did you remove it or come that way?

I removed it, I like old school stuff, zz4 intake, 1405 eddy, isky solid cam, dart heads, and a 65 chevelle cast iron distributor. Runs great and easy to tune for me. Z51 suspension sure handles great compared to my 76 L82 I had years ago! Greg
