I have an 87 with a stock fuel pump (But not the original, it was replaced in 97) On the dyno I got an A/F ratio reading of 12.8:1 throughout the entire rpm band, also, I think I have close to 45psi of fuel pressure at WOT...should that be ok with a 100-125hp Nitrous Plate Kit?
Hey Tim, I just wandered over here and saw your post. I think you're just fine with your setup..... heck, I'm all stock basically and as you know, I was pig rich that day at the dyno. You're gonna love it if you do it!!!!
I'm not up enuff on this, but my feelings are you match the pump to the motor's requirements NA and the NOS will just simply enhance the burn. I'm sure somebody else will chime in though....
Great seeing you the other nite Bud, shoot me the vid of that purge when you get a chance, I wanna see what 10 bucks of NOS shooting into the atmosphere looks like

WOAH THERE! Ok, here's what happens, when you shoot a wet shot you are tapping the fuel rail and sending additional fuel into the intake ONTOP of what ever you send in NA. Dry systems increase the injector pulse to compensate.
If you need a bigger fuel pump for this or not comes down to how much HP you currently have. If you are in stock form you should be able to put it on without a hitch. I upgraded mine just for saftey's sake it's only $100 for a good Walbro.
