Did you ever get an answer to this? I'm getting ready to go from 17's to 18's and I'm wondering the same thing. I'm wondering if the inner diameter of the wheel is even any bigger depending on wheel size?

The original bands will not fit on 18” wheels. If you can find some giant bands similar to the originals the actual sensor and balance weight could be slipped on the new bands. I doubt you will find any bands but if you do it will work.

Yes that works. Whenever I am looking for a new C4 I always try to avoid that UJ6 RPO code but it seems like every time I look for a new C4 it is on the RPO sticker. Good thing I have my last C4 to keep and when the sensors go belly up I also will just pull the bulb. I check my tires often, have a compressor, and sure as hell know when a tire is going flat while driving.
