Driver information center dash light out left side
Did some searching on this subject, and couldn't find any good info. On the left side of the drivers information center in my 1987 corvette, where you switch functions on the displays, there are two light bulbs that backlight these controls when the dash lights are on. My left light is out. I thought no problem, its a bulb. It is not the bulb. Upon further investigation of the flexible printed circuit on the back of the unit, it appears that the left bulb is powered separately from the right bulb which grabs its power from the other side of the display. I wouldn't mind replacing the flexible printed circuit board, but its $39, and I'm not sure this is actually what the problem is. Anyone ever dealt with this problem?
