Are you talking distributors or full system.

Personal experience is that I have had 2 Unilites, 1 Holley, and 1 MSD. (Purely talking distributors). Have had no major complaints with any of these as far as normal use but trying to find replacement parts like caps and rotors for the Mallory and Holley took a bit of trial and error. I did have an excellent customer service experience with Holley after some parts snafu's.

Bottom line if I had to rank them: MSD, Holley, Mallory.

If your talking about ignition boxes, I have only had experiences with the MSD (I have a 6 in my boat and truck). I will probably experiment with the Crane or Holley in about six months but....

My 2cw, the Mallory better than the MSD, probably not. But, looking at the ads, it looks like more bang for the buck. Good luck and post the results when you get whatever installed, I'd be interested in seeing it.

Man I forgot about Mallory ignitions!!........ we used them when we were racing Mopars years ago ............. they were very good in the old days and we used to get them from J.C.Whitney and were shipped right from Mallory. They asked all sorts of questions about the car too like weight, engine mods, gears and stuff......... haven't dealt with them lately like I said :seeya
