Default Lt4 hot cam kit

WHat can I expect from a Lt4 hotcam kit with ported L98 hedas with a 3angel vavle job. Headers.
And will a LT4 hot cam work best with miniram or superram.?
Can I expect the same power as a LT1 with the lt4hot cam kit?

Regards

That's really a tough one. I hate to say it, but why don't you do it and then you can tell us? A mini ram is VERY similar to an LT1 intake so given similar head flow you should make similar power. You can even modify an LT1 intake to fit an L98 if you so desire. I'm going to wager that the L98 will make slightly less power for a given combination because of the compression ratio.

An LT1 has reverse flow cooling which allows you to run a fairly high compression ratio without detonation. This increased compression and / or timing would probably make it edge out a little bit. I don't know for sure though, just kinda my thoughts on it.

Personally I would be very interesting in seeing what a Hot Cam / Mini Ram L98 would do. The hot cam just isn't the most popular for the TPI setup because it likes higher RPM's than the stock TPI is setup to give it. Why don't you give it a shot?
