Anyone have experience with code 26?
I've been getting this recently, how did you fix it. What's the chance of it being the ECM?

If your code 26 is the same as my 92, it's circuit # 1 quad driver. It controls the Canister purge sol. , EGR sol. and AIR relay.

On a 92 there is a Code 26 in the CCM. It says LCD Blanking Control Circuit Shorted to B+ or CCM Internal Open.
In the SIR (air bag) System, a Code 26 is an Open in Steering Column Circuit.
How are you determining the codes?
Ooops, ittlfly is right!! The ECM Code 26 is the QDM module. Are you getting an SES light?

Re: Anyone have experience with code 26? (c4cruiser)
I recovered the code by doing the paper clip trick.
The EGR solenoid has just been replaced, before its replacement I was still getting the code, so I dont think its the EGR solenoid.

Have you checked to see if all 3 relay/solenoids work?... AIR, canister purge and EGR?

It was a siezed air pump and the canister purge valve on mine. Both easy fixes, but the airpump was mucho expensive. try Jeff Kopp

PS the electric airpump has a big fuse on the top of it, (30 amp) check that first
