We have pulled the motor and trans out of my '84 C4. Doing some light mods for a little more pep. Before we started I noticed my exhaust looked like it was hanging too low. Other than the two holders on the rear I don't remember taking any other straps off. My question is how many and where are they supposed to be?
Also, what is a good cat-back system?
Mounts to Exhaust Manifolds up front, Has a 2 Bolt Hanger at Tail shaft of Trans. 2 Bolts at rear Bumper in 84 in later years a Rubber strap was added from "C" Beam to rear "Y" pipe when they went to the Flanged style "Y" pipe/Catalytic converter.
Give these guys a call during normal Business hours tell them what you need if they don't have on the shelf they can go out back and pull. the middle hanger didn't change much until the LT-1s
