Default Trouble Removing Relays

Hey, guys, I need some help. I’m replacing the heater core on my ‘91 and already have a good portion of the upper and lower dash removed. However, I cannot figure out how the relays in the under dash housings are supposed to come out of them, much less how the empty housings themselves are removed. I’ve poked and prodded quite a bit without success. I need help!

Thanks in advance.

In my limited time replacing relays they've all had spade connectors that just push into the socket. My 91 roadster has a few that are severely corroded and I'm replacing the deck lid release relay now (also purchased the socket). it took a little force, but the relay did pop off. There will also be a retaining clip of some sort that you'll have to (carefully) pry open. Good luck.

You don't need to remove the relays from the sockets just the sockets from the bracket. They have tabs that release them.

Are you following the sequence in the FSM for the heater core?
