1996 Cruise control
I'v been having this weird issue lately. Whenever I engage cruise control it will not work, However if I press on the gas pedal even just a cm it will start working. When cruise control is engaged and going uphill it will stop maintaining speed unless I once again press just ever so slightly on the gas pedal. Any ideas what is causing this and how to fix it? Thanks!

Under the passenger side injector cover you will find these two vacuum ports one on top of the other. Notice how the one on top after it makes the 90 degree bend to the left it splits into two .... these become very brittle over time and can crumble or break.
