Trans issues....ALREADY ??????
Today I call down to Yank, tell them the problem, and see what happens. If anyone else has the same problem, let me know, as it may be something simple.
Also, the fluid is a pinkish color, smells sweet, not burnt at all. Trans temps are 190-205 after driving all day.

Thanks!

Use conventional oil, not synthetic convential was used
Lower shift points already lowered 2mph, will lower further saturday
Change fluid but not filter waiting to see if above works first
I was also told that its not a mechanical issue but more of a timing issue with the computer.
That does make me feel better but I will feel MUCH better when it actually works the way I want!

95 dosent have a TV cable. Its the E version transmission.

Lower your shift points and you will be fine.
What kind of programmer do you have?
If its a Hyperteck, each number you lower equals 100 rpm on the 2-3 shift I think

There are plenty of guys with 4L60E's running this converter, I have a tendency to believe your problem, like mine must be programming related.
Have you tried contacting Precision about your problem ? Maybe they have some suggestions. I've been lazy but I should call them also.
good luck.
Your problem sounds scarily similar to mine...except my tanny is 86000 miles old (18 years). i have the exact smae simptom as you are describing. Excpet i hear a clunk when i let off the gas when my tach spikes. It only happens at WOT. Its very odd. Any ideas?? (TV cable what is it????)
1)With the car running disconnect the tv cable from your linkage and pop it a few times. What I mean by that is pull it out all the way using your hand and let it pop back in. The will increase the fluid presure in your unit and possibly flush out and trash thats in that vavle.
2)Now its time to adjust the cable. Push in the metal tab all the way and move the cable back in as far as it will go. Now holding the tab in with the tv cable connected open your throttle all the way. You will see it come out automatically. Let go of the metal tab. Go test it. Remember this, just in case take a rough measurement of how much it moves from where it is set now, just in case you want to put it back in the same position. Once adjusting the tv cable, if you dont like where it shifts, just move it in or out according where you want it to shift. Make it shorter for an later shift, and longer for a earlier shift.
Turned out to be a cracked transmission filter. Per Yank's request, had the fluid and filter changed. I drove @ 50 miles on the new fluid, went out on the highway and let er rip! 1-2 shift was firm, 2-3 shift hit the limiter for a second and then went into gear!!! :D I was literally bouncing out of my seat when it happened so I slowed down to 60 and hit it again, same thing.
NOW I need to adjust my shift points as the trans is actually shifting now!! Cant wait til friday when I go to MIR and see what kind of times I can lay down! :reddevil
