You didn't say what year your car is. I'm going to go with one of Marc Haibeck's line lock kits for my 91 ZR1. I have always done my burnouts without one but I was younger . Now I like the idea of the line lock as my son will be driving the car at the track. I've never really had any trouble doing a burnout in the past. More of a safety thing than anything.

It's still a C4 so kit would work.

I hung my linelock (1993 ) solenoid off the brake booster/master cylinder bolt. I had to fab a bracket.

hurst roll control is what i used.

ive installed heads/cam/supercharger/a couple clutches/ rear suspension/brakes/etc. It was one of the hardest installs ive ever done in my whole life.

basically no one mKes a plug and play install for the c4.. You will have to buy multiple flaring tools (bubble flare for stock master cylinder bung) and double flare for the hurst roll control elbows.

i stripped out a hole on the hurst roll control fitting. I could have been an a$$ and bought a new one/returned the stripped one. But I didnt. I bought a new one and kept the old one.

i used the horn button as my momentary switch. I put a lighted master rocker switch on the dash cluster.

the horn works fine when the master switch isnt thrown.

good luck. With all the mistakes, buying a new solenoid, flare tools (some are crappy /dont work) , new brake fluid...i prob had $600 into the project
