Default Ebay aluminum 3 core radiator

This thing fits pretty good. All I had to do was trim the rubber isolators a little bit on the top to hold the wider core. Everything bolted up just fine. Was $135..

You know when you think about it -it is very hard to believe they can manufacture this-and make a profit, retail it and make a profit and ship it for $135.00. I paid a tad more for my DeWitt's. Dan

For $125, why not?

Well well when you're paying young Chinese girls $0.25 an hour lol.

I have a one in my 800 horsepower supercharged F-Body, and it's been in there for I don't know like eight years? No issues.

There's some things you definitely want to spend money on, but a lot of stuff is just the difference in cost of labor.

Well if you want to put cheap Chinese crap into your baby that's your choice. I bet the money you spent building that 800HP engine wasn't done with cheap Chinese made parts.
Was it?? Now you go cheap on the most important part to keep everything running cool and together?? Doesn't make sense.
If it was me with that 800HP engine I'd certainly get a Dewitts part and never think about it again. But that's just me. Hope everything continues to work out for you and that 800HP engine

One thing I've noticed about "cheap Chinese parts" is in the past few years the quality has been significantly better than a lot of stuff made in the US, especially when it comes to things like headers and intercoolers and radiators.. This is simply because these Chinese factories have huge investments in automation, many of which are probably from the Chinese government, but the point is they have a lot more advanced machinery to mass-produce parts than small shops in the US. Computerized welding is better, machining is typically better, etc.

Now there's definitely some parts where this is not true.

A radiator is a radiator. Aside from ******* up the end cap welds they all should work about the same. I just wanted mine to be a 100% fit is all. If its quality, fits and works I really don't care what origin is stamped on it.

Automation is great. But the flip side of it is when there's an issue hundreds leave before you catch it vs the guy hand building it.. there's a trade off for everything imo. Piece looks very nice by the way.

FWIW I have been using a champion 3 core, for about 7 years now. No problems, and it has no problem keeping my engine cool. (462 rwhp)
IMO if you are looking to save money, these radiators are the way to go..... IF it does fail, its pretty easy to change. IF anyones engine fails due to a radiator, well they need to learn to watch the temp. guage!!

The champion in the 67 has end tanks like that. The weld failed on 3 of them. Same place. Pin hole. The stupid weld rotted. #4 seems like they changed how they braze it. Hopefully for the better.

Doesn't Dewitt's offer a lifetime warranty on their radiators or am I mistaken?
I bought the economy Dewitts radiator for my LT4 and one of the reasons for the purchase was the warranty (I thought it has a lifetime warranty).
The Dewitt's radiator looks very nice but it seems to offer about the same cooling capacity as my old stock one (my fan temps have been altered in the PCM for cooler temps).
Looking at the Chinese radiators they look great too and at a significant price difference!

Small wonder your radiator died. I can see right now why it gave up the ghost...it's called "lack of maintenance". Why in the world would you ever let your coolant get that nasty??? Don't you ever change it???

….. Thanks ! … Where can l buy radiator wax ? … my car is 99.9% drag car and definitely not a show car … the radiator holds water ONLY as most tracks will bar you for life if you dump antifreeze on their stickum … besides , l have better things to do than to unbox my radiator to polish up the side tanks … and there isn't an off the shelf product that will remove 9-10 years worth of l DRIVE MY 'VETTE from the guts of any radiator …..
