Interior light will not shut off
I have a 91 Coupe that recently started showing door ajar light on and flickering interior lights. Checked all doors and hatch, Ok. THen opened hatch and closed. Now interior lights will not go off. No door ajar, just can't turn off. Help!

Have you tried disconnecting the ground to your battery waiting 5 minutes then reconnecting it? Sometimes the computer get confused and like you home computer must be rebooted. Not sure it will help but it has fixed that problem before.

Check your pin switches at the doors and hatch. Also confirm the dash light switch (rotating tab outside the headlight switch) isn't mistakenly turned to full turning the lights on.

The hatch switch is a pain, I've broke two(not actually broke, but they don't work), so I just unplugged it for now. No more lights on anymore. I will eventually replace it, but try this as a test. Pop the hatch and then with your finger, push down on the button and see if the lights go out, if so, then it's something with the alignment of the piece on th ehatch hitting the switch. Mine was lined up perfectly, but the lights would still go on.
