Default Adjusting DFCO

Decided to play with DFCO in an attempt to smooth out some cam surge.

It was originally set to enable @ 1400 (which I believe means anything above 1400?) and disable at 1200. I changed those numbers to 2000 and 1500, respectively. Seems to have helped some, or perhaps improved only in my head. I am trying to reduce a surge/buck as I decelerate in gear clutch engaged. Something like coming down to a stop in 3rd without downshifting and declutching around 1500 rpm before stopping.

Am I doing the right things with DFCO? Anything else to try?

did we not have a scan/tune section years ago? I thought we did and it since has disappeared.

yea the c4 site has been bastrdized but really those forums moved so slow.

it was tough to get a response in those sub forums. Im happier its been combined into c4 tech.

DFCO - ive always been told to disable it. Make it not functional in a mod’d car

I need to check to see if there is a min MPH for DFCO to be disabled. Maybe it’s just too low for my liking. Have no issues at speed, it’s just under ~15mph stuff where I can feel the engine kick sometimes.
