How to lube throttle cables?

How to lube throttle cables?

I have a 1995 base coupe LT1 and can't find any way to get lubrication into the throttle cables. There's nothing wrong that I can tell, car runs fine, but I know they haven't been lubricated in many years. Hoping to lube all three that are connected to the ASR device (from pedal, from cruise vacuum diaphragm, to TB) but any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance

All you can do other than taking the ends off is to spray silicone up each sleeve end. It’ll lube a few inches.

Try motorcycle cable lubricant on parking brake, hood release and throttle cables. Probably other uses as well. You can also buy an “insertion” tool that clamps around the cable and forces the grease completely through the cable. Do not substitute with chain lube—it’s the wrong chemical composition and will thicken in cold temps.
