so i have an 85 corvette, and i just swapped the heads on it. while i was plugging everything back in i noticed a sensor under the intake manifold, but no connector in sight. i spent hours looking for it, until i gave up and bought a new wire harness. the new harness has no connector for it either. Am i making a mistake and that sensor was never connected in the first place? maybe the manifold is from a newer corvette?
There should be a wire for it it's one of those kind of important plugs. Did I you take the car apart because I always unplugged it and rerouted it from under fuel rail when working but with that said I can't swear if there is removable pigtail extension that goes to main harness that might be missing
Must be an 85 thing. My 86 IAT connector is hard wired in the bundle.
I have to Agree with you about it being Hard Wired into the Harness I never recall Unplugging the Sensor any other than at the Sensor. but when searching for the Photo of the Plenum the Pigtail showed up several times.
