high torgue starter wireing 1987

Can I get advise on installing a hi torque starter I got fron corvette central for my 87 the Solenoid is off center and my batt cable doesnt reach the big terminal. Can i switch big terminals on the solenoid? move the wire from the casing that is on another big terminal. if I can the batt cable will reach. Heeelp Thanks

Solenoid

You can undo the bolts, and rotate the solenoid End to wherever u need it to be

that should do it, I just put one in my 85, didn't have any problems.....they do work great....starts in a mili-second.....

Some starters can be clocked. That is rotated to fit better like mentioned above. Another possibility would be to follow the bat cable and organize it to be longer. I just put a power master 9100 on mine, very pleased with it.
