As far as mods go, my car is mostly stock so i can compete in the stock class in NCCC. I've basically put the Z51 suspension from 88-90 under it, borla exhaust, a harness bar, and 5-point harness.

Road America is so awesome! My first house was only fifteen mins away. I mostly do NASA time trial events or HPDE. I have a five point harness and race seats but not a cage or HANS.

Its been a while since Ive been on here due to being busy with many aspects of life and racing. I recognize some of you guys here that have posted. I have been putting a lot of effort into makeing my C4 as competitive against newer Vettes as possible. I run CAMS in SCCA and GTL Optima and GTU in Drive AutoX. I did post on doing coil overs and have been testing rates since last year. I think I finally have a set up that can win. Next CAM Challenge event will be in early August. at Peru, IN. After that its to SCCA Nationals in Lincoln, NE. Hope to finish up in the trophies there.

GinGerman Raceway May 2020

We'll see if the C4 can actually be a competitive platform.

Thats a nice looking car. I would be interested in hearing about your suspension setup. My car was a very fast well sorted car back in the 90s and we are looking to return it to full competition here in Australia. It will run in class 2B production sports cars. It can do lap times equivalent to Porsche GT3 cup cars so we think it will be competitive. The suspension in my car is reasonably standard with Koni revalved adjustable shocks. The front leaf spring has been replaced with a custom made steel one but I don’t know many details. The rear is still the 84 Z51 Fiberglass unit.
