1990 Corvette Braking Issue??
I drive an automatic and When braking coming to a full stop.. just before I come to a stop there’s a decently heavy jolt that comes with a thump noise.. might be when switching from 2nd to 1st.. is this a tranny issue? Or is this normal Please help!!

I don't know if anyone will be able to help much. I am not sure it is a braking issue. Like you said it could be a trans issue. I would first rule out driveshaft u-joints, rear wheels u-joints, rear and front wheel bearings. If it was me I would check u-joints and bearings first. If they test fine I would stop at a trusted trans shop and see what they say. Dan
