Mine is a Gemini I think and it looks just like that one. The specs seem close too. I wish they would tell you how big the hydraulic ram is and the diameter of the cables. I think that might be a good thing to know to compare. The price on that lift is very low, I wonder how they do that?
I bought an M6 from these guys http://www.autolifters.com/ ; it was about a thousand dollars more, I have had it for almost two years and it has served me well. You're doing the right thing, asking for people's experience with a particular lift. Do a search in the C4 General discussion area, use "lift" as a topic title and search archived topics. You will find several threads on 4 post lifts. Also, you can contact the factory and ask them if they have sold any units locally, if they have, find out if you can contact one of their customers.
If you decide to purchase a lift, my advice is: check it monthly, keep it maintained well. The last thing you want is a failure with your "ride" about 3 feet off the ground.
We purchased the BendPac scissors lift this summer. Unfortunately the garage is too small for a 4poster. Do yourself a favor and check out the threads and photos Chris posted about is 4-post lift collapse. I think it was a Perfect Park brand. His forum handle is 69L71 and he hangs out in C3 usually. He's got links to all the threads on the saga in is signature line. Good Luck and get all the facts so that you can make an educated decision. :yesnod: ~Juliet
