94 strange feel going uphill

94 strange feel going uphill
Just picked up the 94 and when going up a steep hill between 40 and 51 and trying to acellerate it feels like it lurches and cuts out. It is the only time it does it! Help please!

Well, the gas gauges on these cars are notoriously off... Make sure the tank is full. Next, pull the sending unit/pump assembly and check the hoses and make sure theyre attached as they should be. Next check fuel pressure.
Also... When was the car last tuned up? Plugs & wires in particular? Might be time for that....
