Only place I could find one for my 89 was eBay. The grommet in the valve cover is available from several sources, but nothing that the parts houses had resembled that elbow. Prolly why a previous owner stuck a PCV valve in it's place, although that wasn't the greatest idea in the world.
Thanks s carter! The current thingy on my cover is labeled "6047054" and made in China. No search results for that.
So, from at least one Corvette-realted source, it's:
"Grommet, crankcase vent tube in right valve cover p/n 152031". Unfortunately, listed as discontinued as well as applying only to '85-'87. It's all one piece, including the elbow, at the cover. Then the tube and a 90 degree elbow to a tube parallel to the intake manifold.
Bummer. Time to hodge podge something I guess. Maybe I'll try patching the one I have first, it's just stressed rubber.
jframe, the PCV valve is supposed to be on the driver(left) valve cover, imagine putting another on the passenger side is not a good thing.
The reason you can’t find those is because (again) GM cheapened the car, and made it simpler for the morons on the assembly line.
the part is now a rubber hose from the throttle body to the valve cover. You still need the plastic piece that fits into the valve cover.
i think they are around $50 from chevy.

So, I'm more interested in getting new parts than getting lucky with old parts, as well as for others than myself ('87 owners Unite!). Sounds to me that moving to an '88 setup should be fine.
Anyone had luck seeing this one? I found the tube and the grommet, but not the insert into the right valve cover, as in the actual elbow. This can't be the same as the one on the left cover, as it stops the flow the wrong way.
Maybe the parts places are labeling it as a "positive" PCV insert?
Dorman 47054 is the right '87 piece, even though they don't list a C4 as applicable on their website. Verified the simple way, the Dorman part has the exact part number and "M China" as the one I'm replacing!
I decided to try one jus cuz, Rockauto had them for $2.
