I have been searching for the ECM for my 95 corvette for quite a while. I have part number 16181333, which may or may not be correct. I understand there is also another part number out there that I'm not able to find. Back in June someone posted it but I'm not able to find that post. If anyone knows part numbers that would be great.. Someone also said it had a different name ( initials than ECM) I'm a novice but this car has been in limbo way to long for way too many reasons including Covid 19. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Probably called a PCM powertrain control module. I'll check my sources later. 16181333 is the only part number for 1994-95. Something to remember, the ECM will have to be programmed with the VIN to work correctly.

Thank you for replying. Now I know what PCM stands for.
Are the PCM and the ECM the same is part?
It is almost impossible to get. I went to Flagship 1. In My experience they are perhaps the worst company I have ever dealt with. Be warned.
Well thanks again I appreciate your help. I will be sure if I find the part to get it flashed with my Vin.

PCM and ECM are the same thing, just depends who you;re speaking with. There are reputable "rebuilders" out there. One company that I know is Blue Streak Electronics. They don't sell direct, but perhaps they can steer you to someone that distributes their product. If they don't carry it, you could contact some junk yards that might have one, then you could send it in to be reprogrammed. One other option is ebay. If you search by part number, I know there are a few. Good luck!

16188051 are from 94-95 F-body and B-body, and will work fine in your car once programmed.
They are far more plentiful. I have a pile of them and have usually paid $40-60 shipped for them.
For reference, the F-Body and B-Body PCMs will work perfectly fine once programmed, as stated above. The only hardware difference is that they do not include the additional chips that were used for OBDII test operations. This program isn't accessible without a special scan tool (no, you can't just plug an OBDII reader in), so for 99% of people it won't matter that this code won't work anymore. It won't affect your car's operation whatsoever.
However, it's critical to remember to take the knock module out of your existing PCM and put it into whatever PCM you end up getting. Most refurbished PCMs won't come with one installed, and if you get a used F-Body or B-Body one, it won't work properly in a Corvette (may not detect knock correctly). This is the little thing that plugs into the PCM under that metal plate on the underside of the PCM.
