Tach problems
I have 1996 vette and the tech keeps jumping up and down. It doesn't do it all the time, only sometimes as I am driving.
Also, does anyone know anything about the ASR light coming on.

I don't know about a 1996, but I have an 85 that did the same thing. It turned out to be the tachometer filter, A small silver tube like part with 2 wires on it that attaches to the back of the engine on the drivers side behind the valve cover edge close to the firewall. Inexpensive and easy to replace.
