Okay, just checked out prices for four tire cradles - $400. That's pretty outrageous but so far have not thought of another way to take care of the tires over the Winter other than driving in the snow and that's not going to happen. Has anyone come up with another solution? Thanks
Mine flat-spot over the winter. That's not a problem if the car isn't moving. If the car is moving, the flat spots vanish within a few miles. Problem solved.
A little extra air pressure while the car is stored helps a bit.
X3. That falls under the category of: "Worryin' about **** that ain't worth worryin' about". Car tires have survived winter/storage for over 120 years now, and they'll continue to make it though winters, unharmed.

Every time I tell myself that, somebody's sure to step up and prove me wrong.

You're right, of course. As soon as I posted that, I realized I was sure to be proven wrong sooner or later (probably sooner). But I'm going to leave it as a placeholder just so I can remember this life lesson.
Seeing the ads in several well known magazines It looked like they were a normal use item. Since I've never had a car that was not used year round was not sure. Seeing the prices of some was a shocker. After reading around on line and views of people on the forum I'm going to forget about it.. They'll set on concrete in the garage and I'll watch the pressures.
