85 Stalls when idling
My 85 dies when idling in any gear but neutral. It runs fine when moving, (as far as I can tell) but when I come to a stop while in drive it stalls. Brand new rebuilt automatic transmission. I was thinking maybe a vaccum leak?

Is the timing bypass wire connected? is a single wire near wiper motor area.
check the EGR valve is not sticking open, that can cause stalls.
Check your TPS is set to 0.54volts dc (top and middle wire)
Make sure the IAC valve (with the square 4 pin connector) on pass side lower throttle body has not come loose.
If someone has adjusted the idle stop screw and removed the plug, you may need to set the base idle again.
