Lack of fuel economy, impact to resell value, lack of timing control, etc.
Outside of that, most of your dash will still work as it is wired directly to sensors on the motor.
You will have hood clearance concerns to address.
Why do you want to own a carb? Why not just sell it and buy an older carb car?
