Default 1989 Steering Shaft Coupler Rubber Mount

My 89 has just failed inspection in the UK because there's a crack in my steering shaft coupler. Is it possible to buy this seperately? I have no play in my rack or column, it's just the rubber rag joint that's got a crack in it.

It'll cost a lot of money to have a steering column shipped here just for a rubber mount!

Do you actually mean the 'rag-joint' in the intermediate steering shaft? Search eBay for 26022829 for an image of an appropriate solution, I'm quite sure I have one removed from an '89 in I believe '03. It's fine.

I wouldn't be surprised if you couldn't actually find one there in UK!!

Yes that's the part. I just need to rubber piece that holds the two shafts together. I haven't had any luck in the UK with my usual sources

I'd take dimensions and see if e.g. Camaro rag would fit. If not, there's a USA used parts specialist in Sweden and at least three in Finland who quite likely would have the part - or the column. Though ebay prices were good and sometimes shipping hasn't been too bad to Europe. I might try to make one myself.
