There are cheaper options out there that work well, but few are actually considered legal. I believe JW Speaker makes a specific set of lights intended for the LH traffic EU market.
This is their product page for the 8910 lights. https://www.jwspeaker.com/products/l...0-evolution-2/
Either part number 554421(chrome inner trim) or 554441 (black inner trim) should be what you are looking for. Those are the heated models, they also offer non-heated headlights which should be a little bit cheaper.
Speaking to the subject of LED headlights in general, it is a massive improvement over stock. Just be sure your headlight motors are in a good state of repair as the heavy heatsinks on the back of the led lights will add a little bit of strain that may "finish off" a worn motor.
I put in a set of $90 headlights in my 85 last week. They have a nice sharp cutoff to avoid disturbing other drivers, and the light output is amazing.

They seem to be of good quality and once I grounded my fog lights properly they worked perfect. If anything I think I have my lights aimed a little too low.
There is some debate as to how "road legal" they are though.
Where I live there is no vehicle safety inspection so the chances of anyone giving me an issue are slim. If you live in an area that does require a regular safety and compliance inspection (especially on an imported car), the osram lights off amazon probably won't make the cut.

Thank you for your comment.
In the UK we have an annual inspection for all cars between 3 and 40 years old and lights are part of the inspection.
More I am looking in to it the JW non heated lights are EU certified and have an option for Right and Left Hand Traffic. Pricy, but will last for years.
Will call them and order them and share feedback once installed
Anybody from Canada bought from Octane? Issues shipping into Canada? These are exactly what I have been looking for. I did email them an waiting an answer but thought I would throw it out there.
I have a pair of the JW Speaker headlights on my 1996 and love them. They are almost too bright. Have to adjust down some or the reflection from road signs will blind you. I live in the country and when I bought my 96 and traveling at night with no moon on a tight two lane I could hardly drive over 40 MPH with the stock headlights. Dan
