Default LT1/LT4 intakes....

I have a highly modified LT intake on my L98 engine/heads #113? it's all in my '72 vette....serp drive and all, the HEI is an L98 setup on the manifold, the cooling lines vent at all 4 corners and run to a remote stat housing high/behind radiator....

it's a 52mm tbody, now for the dumb question, brought on by another thread about intake gaskets....is this an LT1 or LT4 intake, and what are the differences in the castings???

Before anyone says "Because its red", just because its red, doesn't mean its an LT4. I have a red powder coated LT1 intake.

You have to look at the intake ports. This link has the differences and the respective part nbrs

Agree..probably an LT1 as the LT4 ports are way too big for those heads. They perform about the same anyways
Op look up the PN its near the intake manifold bolts Pass side I believe
Dont think the LT4 has a provision for EGR on the back

The LT4 ports are "raised". There is no difference in flow between the 2 manifolds. The difference was the port location (raised) and the bigger valves in the LT4 heads.
