Car keeps stalling
I have a 1984 c4 with a little less than 30k on the original motor. When i am in stop and go traffic she stalls on me sometimes. To start it i have to open the throttle 75% of the way then crank it. It start back up most of the time but smells like something is burning. Oil temp and pressure are 200-220F and 40psi. The car idles fine in park for about 45 minutes but then cuts. If anyone has had this problem before please let me know. Thanks!

If ya hafta depress the pedal that much to get it to restart, that's a good indication of flooding. Idk what the percent throttle is but 5v sensor over 2.5v/~50% on the throttle position sensor enables "clear flood mode." Check leak down on fuel pressure contributed from leaking injector or blown diaphragm on the fuel pressure regulator. Pull the vacuum hose off the regulator and if you smell fuel, diaphragm in the FPR is bad.
