Comp can grind you anything you want.

As for the 219 it has .525/.525 lift with 1.5 rockers and .560/.560 lift with 1.6 rockers.

CC will have just about anything you can think up on the shelf. If they dont, theyll grind it for you.

if you want a 219 why don't you buy one? in all seriousness what rpm do you intend to run the motor to? there xtreme lobes are just wonderful & a 224/224 cam or 230/230 cam would be extremely easy to create if you want a single pattern grind. i had them do the cam in my sig & it peaks right around 6000rpms & i shift about 6600.

I think the question should be, What intake are you going to run.

I'd call several places.. someone is bound to have something that fits just right, and whether its a shelf grind or not, it shouldnt take long to get :).

Comp, Crower, Isky, Ultradyne, Reed, etc. all probably have something that'd make you happy.

The probleme is this country, Sweden. We only got that much when it comes to "on the shelf stuff".. And to order stuff from USA is expenisve, a axampel, my firend order 2 heads from AFR, they where around 20kg and he payd $200 for the shippment only, then its extra tax on the stuff when it comes in to the country. I whant to keep my cost down. And I hade my plan pretty clear on what to do on the car. BUT when I started to look for the parts I noticed that it whsaent so easy that I thougt of. You guys are lucky living in the usa of a..

SO my plan where this.

lpe219 cam
superram
ported 113 heads
headers
1,6rr

But it might look like this for now

lpe 219 cam ( or a similar comp cam )
ported 113 heads
headers
ported stock tpi with 3" siamesd runners.

Then add superram later.

THanks for all your help so far guys

I feel your pain about shipping (and exchange rate, and import duty, etc). FWIW, I have found that dealing with vendors that provide you with two receipts for "shipping purposes" works quite well in some cases...;)

They will do it if you ask them ;) ;)

Here i have even payed duty on the shipping cost @22.5%

Life would be so much nicer if i lived in the states, or travelled there regularly

I would also be a lot richer

Sorry for the unintended hijack devilfish. :chevy

Back to the topic at hand, has anyone else got cam advice or experience here?
