Default Knock sensor connector

I have changed the exhaust headers on my 1990 Corvette and the knock sensor connector is very close to the exhaust pipe. does anyone know where I can get a connector that is L shaped so the one does not stick straight out and gets too hot from the exhaust pipe. Or could be another solution altogether. Thanks for the help

Do you not have the shield?

And you can buy an empty shell and replace yours. Unless the wire is burned as well.

Do you remember what size the wrench to get it off was? I can't find one that fits it well enough to get it off.

I believe I used a 3/4 deep socket on mine and had no issues.

I recrimped a new connector I bought online but like the other person said you should get a shield.
