Default Help!

I have a 1993 40th that I do not drive a lot. I recently went out to start it up and an the infl rest light game on and stayed on. I hooked up my scanner to pull a code and the scanner found no codes. Has anyone had this happen to them or had experience with this issue? Thanks, Prysmian 46

You need a scanner capable of retrieving codes from the SIR module. Or you can do it with a paper clip and count the glashes of the bulb.

Have you done any work on the steering column lately, you may have a break in your clocking spring/coil so continuity tests my be needed between top and bottom of column. Even if you haven't worked on column though odd clock coil can get an open circuit

Thanks for the quick replies. I have not done any work on the steering column. I guess I will have to get the codes by jumping the data link for codes. What a pain!
