How can I install 90 ZR1 17'X11' 36mm rear wheels on a 90 C4 with 56mm rear?
Is it possible to modify the rear from 56mm to 36mm by using 87 36mm outer knuckles & outer shafts?
If you really must use those particular wheels, then you should look up an old set of mods called "big doggie (doggy?)" mod. It's not as simple as the parts replacement you're talking about. It requires some grinding/machining. To do a straight bolt-on, you'd have to replace the entire rear subframe/diff/suspension with one from a 84-87, which is a downgrade in performance. And all of this is so you can fit some wheels, for which very few tires are made anymore.
My strong suggestion is that you abandon the ZR1 wheels and get 11" wheels with 50mm offset, which will fit your car with no mods and 315 tires.

I know it easier to just use after market wheels but I want that stock look & the beefy 315 rear
tire.. I have gathered a really nice set of 90 ZR1 wheels that match my original ones.. My goal it to keep it stock looking!! Also I have purchased a nice set or rear 88-96 rear hubs assemblies & the required 84-87 shorter axle/spindles shafts.. I did see the some machining is needed but I have access to end mills & lathes.. So this will it will be a fun project!! I will also keep my original knuckle assemblies in storage if I ever decide to revert back to stock form..
