Recommendation for '85 fuel pump?
Hi all! The fuel pump on my 1985 Corvette gave out a few days ago, and I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for a replacement. I'm not using it as a track car or anything, I just need something that will perform as well as the stock one and last for a while.

I don't think you will need anything special for a fuel pump. Just go with a reputable brand and you should be fine.
Note that while you are replacing the pump, you might want to eliminate the fuel pulsator, which is known to rupture after all these years... and be a cause of losing fuel pressure. Simple to replace with a piece of short fuel hose suitable for submerged application. I ditched mine to correct my pressure loss issue.
You also are probably going to need the larger gasket that is on the top of the tank. Mine did not survive the pump extraction. I think you are limited to finding that gasket from one of the corvette specialist vendors.
