Joined this Forum in order to ask questions from those who have time in brand.
Have worked professionally as an Engine Machinist/Welder/Fabricator since the mid '80s, and can operate all machinery typically found in an Engine Machine Shop including grinding crankshafts. Especially enjoy cylinder head work (am also skilled at porting) and balancing rotating assemblies. Currently work for a facility restoring Mercedes/Porsches from the '50s-'70s as their Drive-train Specialist (Engines/Transmissions/Rear Axle Set-up).
While I do NOT own a Vette, … I AM using a 1991 Corvette L98 with TPI in my yet-to-be-finished Rock Crawler project. As such, … my interest here is mostly engine related to this package.
