Default Manual brake conversion?

I know how it sounds, but I really don't need power brakes.

1. My car weights <2500 lbs.
2. I have C5 brakes up front.
3. The brakes can stop violently at times.
4. I lock up my front skinnies at the track trying to slow down.
5. Removing the booster will give me more room for turbo piping on the next build.
6. The booster/wiper motor area is EXTREMELY cramped on my car.

I'm hoping to remove the booster, adjust the pedal ratio, install a rear bias spring, and keep the current master cylinder.
Does anyone see any reason why this won't work?

I wouldn’t keep the proportion valve in the master cylinder. I would install an adjustable proportion valve.

But if I DO use the proportioning valve in the master? Is there any reason this won't work?

I'm considering buying a reverse mounted master cylinder pedal from Wilwood that will let me use a master cylinder on the inside of the firewall to remove it entirely from the engine bay.
I'll cut a bracket that will let me mount the OEM corvette master cylinder to it and use it in either 6:1 or 7:1 ratio.

I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work if you adjust the pedal ratio to reduce the effort required.
With the light weight of the car, you will need and adjustable proportion valve to get the front to rear bias right to keep from locking up front or rear. For the C4, there is only 1 DRM spring available and it probably won’t be right for your application

I've been driving the car for 4 years now. It stops amazing on the street. With the street tires, the brakes are more than good enough for the autocross. The DRM spring might not be the right one, but any step in the right direction wouldn't hurt.

I took some measurements.
It looks like I can fit the stock master under the dash with one of these, I'll just have to make an adapter bracket to use the stock master cylinder.

I'll likely end up (at some point) just cutting my own pedal and bracket to mount it under the dash, but these are only $90 so it should do for now.
That will remove the booster/master entirely from the engine area and give me considerably more room and freedom when fabricating the next quad turbo setup.

I bit the bullet and got the pedal. I'll let everyone know how things go with a manual conversion using the stock master cylinder. I measured and it'll fit under the dash just fine,
