Automatic trans question
I posted before that I bought a c4 that the previous owner started to do a manual swap but sold me the car stripped. I decided to leave it automatic cause the the 700r4 was still hooked up. I changed the inside wi
ring harness to the automatic.( kept the manual harness for a future build) or if anyone is interested) my question is do I have to change the engine harness too, I know I have to change the ecm which I have for an automatic I just want to know if I have to change the whole harness anyway all comments are welcomed thank you.

I don't know about the harness but for the ECM you only need change the EPROM.
Don't forget the kick-down cable from A4 to TB.
You will benefit from getting a FSM for whatever year you are working on.

Me thinks you should look at the BCC on the MEMCAL and cross it to this spreadsheet to see if you still have an AUTO bin. P/N switch probably part of shifter wiring but does go to ECM???
