So I am putting an lt1 from a 94 corvette in to a 94 z28 I noticed the balancer is different is there away to get an aftermarket one that fits or drill out the holes to match the bolt pattern my instincts say that a bad idea any info helps and old thread some one can add
Don't have a Camaro, only have a Corvette, but this is apparently the "right" harmonic balancer for the 94 Z28 and from a glance it appears to be the same bolt pattern as the hub on the Corvette, so it would appear that the hub is the same regardless of which LT1 it's connected to, and only the balancer changed.

I'll check that out, but if its the same bolt pattern as the one I pulled from the z28 motor its just slightly off did you find that looking for the corvette or camaro?
I found it looking for the '94 Z28, it was specifically mentioned by Camaro users on a Camaro forum as being correct for the Camaro. I assume you needed that due to the belt routing being different.
If the hub bolt pattern is different...that sucks. Dang it GM, why would you go to the trouble? Makes no sense for a company famous for parts-binning.
