Found the source of the occasional whiff of coolant never leaked a drop before

Walked out to run an errand, saw fluid underneath.....leaks out as fast as I can pour it in. #5 cyl area
just dumped it after I parked....lets hope its not a freeze plug.
Those coolant hoses that run to the filter area....are those preformed unobtanium or ?
At least the bicycle is reliable lol

Freeze plugs don't just fall out (mostly). So I'm betting the coolant lines to the oil filter being the issue.....seen a few of the lines on here F/S so I'm sure you can get them...

Yeah I'd lean towards the oil cooler/warmer lines.

ARe those something I can order or can I use heater hose from the auto parts?
havent gotten a chance to crawl under it yet. Youd think with 3 cars 1 of them would run

Guess i was lucky with timing....it dumped it all while I was on the phone with the p/o
Not a drop behind the car.

Yes you can just buy regular heater hose, whether it bends the right way and stays there is up to you to figure out. I wrap mine with heat resistant tape.

Take them to the parts store and match as close as possible. I replaced mine recently with all heater hoses. 33 year old hoses had to be replaced leaking or not. My original water pump just failed so I replaced everything.
