Help with a Cruise Control Handle

Hey fellas need help with a Cruise control Handle question. I own a 1985 Corvette and I'd like to get my cruise control working again. The car came with factory cruise control, the servo is under the hood and wiring looks complete. The previous removed the Cruise control handle for some reason and I'd like to replace it and get it going again. I like to know where the spade connector is connected to under the dash. I'm assuming the wire runs thru the steering column. Any help welcomed or a diagram would be helpful....

You're correct the wire runs down the column. Were it connects is down by the clutch or brake peddle. It's an Odd box shaped connector.
