Having driveshaft built

When I was trying to get the old U-joints out I found that the rear section
was damaged. It was either dropped or smacked with a hammer and there
is no way that I can even get the u-joints out. Took the drive shaft to Pittsburgh Drive-shaft to see if it could be fixed - that is a new end put on.
They said they could replace the end but since the shaft was knicked up pretty good there was no guarantee that it could be balanced properly.
Needless to say, I am having them build a new one from scratch.
I am not sure I want to attack the half shafts with the way things are going.
Oh, I forgot to mention - I am going with stock ujoints.
