Service Ride Control Light On
Today my dad and I went out and fired all the cars up too let them run for a bit. When he fired up his 92, the "service ride control" light came on and stayed on. What could cause this? From what I understand there are servo's on each shock, what else is in this system besides the servos themselves? We didn't take the car out of the garage so I have no idea if the ride control still works, but it did when we put the car away a few months back. Thanks for any help.

First off. the SRC light will come on if the ignition switch has been turned to ON/OFF 3 times without the car moving. That will result in a Code 23 being set. Try moving the car (around the block or so) and then turn the ignition On and then OFF again. Does the light go out? If not you will have to pull codes and post them.

Mine is faulty as well but I have a bad actuator on my front left shock. Mine comes on until I move forward and then it disappears. After Chris Petris looked at it (Corvette Clinic), he said it's a bad actuator...
