Default Alarm question

I think Arisa is :U her alarm. I have tryed new batteries in both fobs but no help. I can tap the fob on the drivers side molding right under the door handle & sometimes the car will wake up. It has gotten where it won't see the fob at all from behind or the passengers side. This seems to have gottten worse as the temps have gone down.

Any ideas ???

Thanks

Neal

I had so many freaking problems with my factory alarm, I put it in sleep mode and had a killer aftermarket one installed. Much happier now.

There isn't a sensor on the passenger side of the Coupe, only the verts have it in both doors. The coupe has the other at the rear bumper. Your vette may be suffering from lack of lube on the locking mechanicals. Does your door locks pop back and forth with no effort? Or is it a two or more flips of the lock switch to get it all the way there? You might need to get the door panels off and look for any obstructions/misaligned lock attachment points and such, or maybe a worn out drivers door solenoid.
I'm not expert, but those are just some ideas to mull over and maybe help you out with.
